PinStash Terms of Use

1. Parties

These terms are an agreement between Tahsin Canpolat ("we"), the individual developer who publishes the PinStash mobile app, and you ("user"). By downloading or using the app you accept them.

2. The service

PinStash helps you discover places in a city, collect them in your own lists, add notes and tags, write reviews and share those lists. Place information is fetched live from Google Maps Platform.

We will keep developing the app, and may change or remove a feature. We announce significant changes in the app.

3. Your account

• Creating an account needs a valid email address, and your details must be accurate.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity under your account.
• You may not create an account if you are under 13; if you are under 18, use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account.

4. Your content

The notes, tags, collection names, reviews and profile photo you add are yours. You give us a limited, royalty-free permission to show them to you in the app and — for anything you mark public — to other users. That permission ends when you delete the content.

You agree not to post: unlawful content; insults, harassment or hate speech; material that infringes someone's copyright; misleading or fake reviews; other people's personal data; advertising or spam.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend an account that keeps doing so.

5. Place information and reviews

Place names, addresses, opening hours, ratings, reviews and photos are provided by Google and we do not guarantee that they are correct. Please check before travelling to a place. Use of Google content is subject to Google's terms .

Editorial lists and curator notes in the app are our own opinion. They do not indicate a commercial relationship with a venue and are not sponsored.

6. Subscription

PinStash can be used for free. The free plan's limits are shown in the app (number of collections, places per search and AI routes per month). PinStash Premium raises those limits.

• Purchases and payment are handled by the Apple App Store (or Google Play); we do not have access to your payment details.
• A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You are charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Refunds follow the store's own policy and are decided by Apple or Google.
• Premium limits are fair-use caps, shown as numbers in the app; unlimited use is not promised.

7. AI route suggestions

The AI route feature builds a suggested outing from your preferences. Suggestions are generated automatically and are not guaranteed to be accurate, suitable or safe. Where you actually go is your decision.

8. Unacceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer the app, scrape it with automated tools, overload the service, attempt to bypass its security, or access another user's account. Storing or republishing Google content outside the app is also prohibited.

9. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will run without interruption or error, or that place information will be current. To the extent the applicable law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from your use of the app. This does not remove your rights under consumer law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time. When an account is closed, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul. As a consumer you keep your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.

12. Changes

If we update these terms we change the date on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
